JUST IN! The Lunch Ladies are heading to France again, this time for Fenêtres Sur Courts in Dijon, after exhausting programmers with "Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?"
Apparently, Dijon is a hub of gastronomic delights, home to one of the largest food fairs in the country and originated Grey Poupon back in 1856.
A mustard the Lunch Ladies claim covers up "a multitude of sins."
Said, Seretta, whipping up some special marinade for one of the sins congealing in their fridge: "As connoisseurs of the culinary sciences we just had to get into that fest. What better way then to harass those programmers into it by parroting that annoying commercial?"
LouAnne, eating the Grey Poupon direct from the bottle with a spoon, concurred: "It was magnifique. We wouldn't stop saying it to those Frenchies until they agreed to select us. Thanks Fenêtres Sur Courts for the selection! Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?"
Fenêtres Sur Courts is in its 23rd year and takes place in Dijon, France. The Lunch Ladies screen Thursday, November 23 at 7:15pm and will compete in the horror competition. And yes, that's really Fenêtres Sur Courts' poster. The Lunch Ladies had nothing to do with that.
